Q: How long of a completion time should I expect?

A: Each project varies depending upon size. Most of the time spent on an asphalt project is in the preparation phase. This phase should not be rushed. Speed in this area does not represent experience or quality. We will do our best to work with any time constraints within reason.

Q: How long is the cure time of fresh asphalt?

A: We ask that all of our customers remain off of a new asphalt project for 24 hours.

Q: Is maintenance necessary?

A: Yes. In order to maintain the necessary oil levels in asphalt for longevity, we highly recommend a seal coat for this maintenance.

Q: Is seal coating expensive?

A: No. It is usually only a fraction of the cost of the original asphalt installation price.

Q: How often should a seal coat be performed?

A: We suggest every 4-5 years.  It can be done on a more frequent basis only if previous seal coat application has worn off.  This can be identified when the appearance of the asphalt is light or grey in color.  Too frequent application of seal coat will cosmetically damage your asphalt driveway.

Q: Do you do your own work?

A: Yes. We pride ourselves in the fact that the asphalt installation and gravel services we provide are completed by our own highly trained staff.

Q: How do I know the work will be completed per the recommendations of the estimator?

A:  Our estimators will also be on your project installing the asphalt per the agreed upon specifications.
